Just a followup, if you look at a thread, in the upper right corner of each post you'll see a red and white triangle sign (Report Bad Post) and next to it a number (like "#1" or "#2"), click on the number and it will open a new window with just that one post, and you can print from that if you like, but I think a color inkjet would use a lot of ink printing all those colors, it's okay for lazer.

Well, I gotta say I am having a bit of time getting use to the new format. I was actually pretty happy with the old, but I am a creature of habit, so this is just a change to get use to. There is allot more there to look at then before. I must say that I liked the way the "new posts" use to be listed in out line form. And where is a key that tells me what all the new icons mean? It'll just take some getting use to.

But thanks for all you both do, Mike and Ami. Again, without your dedication to the boards we wouldn't have all met and had the great opportunity to share knowledge with one another.

Thanks,
Jenna

I can not get my pic to show. I went to UserCP and uploaded it since the old one was gone, it is within the guidelines, size and well.. size. but it is not showing. Did I do something wrong?

I'll join in and say our donations were well spent. The board looks terrific.

BTW, your dogs are named Winchester & Remington? OK, I can agree with those names. But what's the third? It's not any gonne maker I know.

I noticed something odd.

When I access these message boards from my computer at home, all the posts are dated using Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

When I access the boards from my computer at work, all the posts are dated using GMT-5, or Eastern time.

It's not really a problem, but it certainly makes me curious. Anyone have any explanation for this phenomenon?

Ami- every time I go in and do the advanced search it says that I need a topic, where as before I could just go and hit posts from last 3 days. What am I doing wrong?

are you talking about your signature pic or your av pic?

if you are trying to put a pic in your sig, you need to upload the image, the edit go to user cp > edit signature then in that space type

{img}theimageurlhere{/img} but replace the { } with [ ]

I will have to have mike look at your other questions.

as for our furbabies, The bird, I got when I was a teenager, and totally in love with the Lion King, so I named her from two characters "Shenzi" and "Zazu" and voila Shenzu, at one point I wanted another bird to name Zazi, but now I have my hands full with these four legged beasts.

It probably has to do with your login, you should check your UserCP and go to Edit Options, then scroll down to Date & Time Options and set your time zone to -5 eastern time, or -6 central, or whatever is appropriate for where you live.

I'll likely be adding a FAQ soon with all kinds of information like that. I'll let you know when I get it posted.

I waited before I voted on this poll. Reserving judgement for a few days until I could fully explore the bells and whistles and see how many problems occured. Now, I'm the type that fears change, as the old saying goes, that progress just means bad things happen faster. But I have to say at this time I think the new forum is most excellent indeed. Kudos again to Mike and Ami. Huzzah.
